Welcome To My Journey

Greetings fellow travelers! I first must say that this whole blogging thing is quite new to me and I can guarantee it will be quite sporadic. I hope that this blog will be an encouragement to all who lay eyes on it.
Last summer I started college at Columbia Basin College. After much paperwork and testing and all the hoops one must go through to begin a journey like this I started prerequisites for a nursing program in June. I am now in my 4th quarter and Lord willing this July I will transfer to Kentucky Mountain Bible College in Vancleve Kentucky. Right now I have been "conditionally" accepted and we are waiting on the results of the ACT test I took on April the 9th.
This is a big step! Lots of pros and unfortunately some cons. The biggest being that I will have to leave the people I have learned to know and love here in Washington for the past six years. We have laughed and cried, shared joys and fears, we grown and mourned together a bond like this is hard to leave, but life must go on and God is good all the time. So trusting Him to lead the way I will say good-bye for now to these dear souls and hope to see them all again if not here on Heavens shining shores!
I am excited to be able to be closer to my family. Its has been six years since moved away from home and while don't regret it in the least it has been hard to be so far away! I will be about 3 hours away from them in Kentucky and am looking forward to being able to spend weekends with them every now and then as well as breaks from school.
I am in awe of Gods provisions in the last year. Many of the steps that have needed to take place have been much smoother than I thought they would be. Many questions have been answered and I feel His leading is very clear. Stepping out in faith has never been a strong point of mine. I am one who likes to know exactly what is going to happen when and where and how and why. This journey has taken me out of my box and made me vulnerable to all the things that don't go the way I think they should.
I am exceedingly grateful for all the prayers and emotional support as well.
Now I must go and be on time to my next class! Hope you all have a terrific day!
  God bless you all!
